IRVINE, CA. - After nearly a decade of North American exclusivity, Insteon is taking its award-winning wireless control technology overseas. Insteon products are slated to ship to both Europe and Australia/New Zealand this summer.

For years, Insteon has been the fastest growing lighting and appliance control solution in North America. Now the company is within a few months of bringing its innovative products to the international market.

"We've been developing 230V/50Hz-compatible Insteon products for several years and last year we began field tests with our international partners," said CEO Joe Dada. While battery-powered products will communicate via Insteon radio frequencies (RF), all products connected to the mains will be dual-band (RF and powerline), generating unequaled reliability.
